Red Delayed Redemption
Rockstar have announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is being pushed back to Spring 2018. In a statement, just released, they explain that RDR2 is the first game built from the ground up on this generation of hardware and that more time is needed to perfect the title. As with all these delays it is a little gutting but if the result is a better game then it’s certainly worth the wait. There have also been rumours that RDR2 will be a flagship title for Xbox Scorpio so whether that has any bearing on the delay is unknown. To soften the blow, though, Rockstar have released a bunch of new screenshots and it’s still looking awesome!
I really enjoyed Red Dead Redemption. While it sucks that they’re delaying it, it is good to see that they’re serious about making sure it’s good quality on release.
