Resident Evil 6 Break Capcom Shipping Records

Capcom have announced that newly released Resident Evil 6 has broken their record for worldwide shipments.

In total, the game has currently had 4.5 million copies shipped so far. This takes it up from the previous game in the series, Resident Evil 5, which shipped 4.4 Million copies back in 2009.

Capcom have previously predicted that Resident Evil 6 would sell 7 million copies by March 31, 2013. Whether or not they reach their goal remains to be seen.
