Good news, Resident Evil fans. Capcom has today released a trailer that showcases the multiplayer modes that will feature in the soon-to-be-released, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
All of the multiplayer modes will feature 4 vs 4 team battles, where you’ll play as either the Umbrella Security Service (USS) or US Spec Ops. The USS are the bad guys (hey, someone has to be them), with team members called Vector, Beltway, Lupo, Four-Eyes, Spectre and Bertha. On the other hand, the US Spec Ops (revealed recently) are the good guys, consisting of characters named Tweed, Dee-ay, Harley, Willow, Shona or Party Girl.
The multiplayer modes that will feature in the game are as follows:
- Team Deathmatch – Battle for the most kills in brutal triple threat chaos that leaves players never knowing what’s behind them, an element that could only exist in the twisted Resident Evil universe
- Biohazard Mode – Ensure that samples of the G-virus are returned safely to their base while fighting off all the competing forces at play in Raccoon City.
- Survivors Mode – Try to survive the horror just a little bit longer while waiting for rescue. Tthere’s limited space on board a helicopter so fight off the opposition and survive the hordes of hungry zombies, risking infection if they get too close.
- Heroes Mode – Play as one of their favourite Resident Evil characters, including Leon S. Kennedy, Hunk or Jill Valentine.
In addition to announcing the multiplayer modes, Capcom has also released a new trailer for you to enjoy. Check it out below, and let us know your thoughts via the comments section.
