Developers of Rocket League, Psyonix, are partnering up with Warner Bros. for the retail release of the game which hits stores later this year. The retail version will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One initially with a Switch version to follow.
This isn’t the first time the two parties collaborated with one another. The two joined forces when the Batman v Superman DLC for Rocket League was released in early 2016 where their relationship sparked and seemingly continued on a high.
Rocket League is somewhat of a phenomenon now with an active community of more than 36 million layers. Rocket League also picked up 150 GOTY wins/nominations since its release #stats.
No price has been announced for the retail version but watch this space as the release date is slated for Christmas 2017.
