Risen 2: Dark Waters Console Release Delayed

by

Publisher of Risen 2: Dark Waters, Deep Silver has announced that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game have been delayed.

The console versions of Risen 2 were originally scheduled to be released towards the end of May but the publisher has revealed that they will now be hitting stores in North America on July 31st and in Europe on August 3rd. The PC version of the same game will still be released on its intended original release date in North America and in Europe next week, on April 27th. Deep Silver has said that the reasoning for the delay to the console versions is to add extra content which includes a new chapter entitled – The Air Temple which will add more longevity by adding several hours to the game’s length.
