Rockstar Unveil Multiplayer Content Plan For Max Payne 3

by

A few weeks before the full game is actually released, Rockstar has today unveiled their content plan for the multiplayer side of Max Payne 3.

The schedule will kick off with the release of the Local Justice Map Pack in June and the finish up in sometime in the Fall (November/December).

You’ll be able to purchase each multiplayer pack separately, but if you plan on picking up all of them anyway, you’ll be better off purchasing the Rockstar Pass. If you pick up the pass, you’ll get access to all of the Max Payne 3 DLC at a discounted price, saving over 35% compared to purchasing the multiplayer packs individually.

“How much will the Rockstar Pass cost?”, we hear you ask. Well, it will be available to purchase for 2400 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or £19.99 (PlayStation Network and PC). Once purchased, the Rockstar Pass will allow you to download all of the Max Payne 3 DLC released up until the end of 2012 via the in-game store as soon as it is available on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network or PC.

The Local Justice Map Pack, scheduled to be released in June, will include the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. The pack will also feature two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges and more.

Individual release dates and pricing info will be announced by Rockstar soon, but for now check out the rough schedule below and be sure to let us know what you think.
