In a surprise announcement yesterday, Ian Bell (CEO and Founder of Slightly Mad Studios), created a new Twitter account and nonchalantly announced the ‘Mad Box’.
What is the Mad Box? It’s the most powerful console ever built… It’s literally ‘Mad’… You want 4k, you want VR at 60FPS? You want a full engine for free to develop your games on it? You have it.

As outlined in his tweet, the Mad Box is a new high-end console boasting 4K60 with VR support. It’s allegedly releasing in a few years time and is set to be a direct competitor to the PlayStation and Xbox.
