Rushing the development of a PC port seems like common practice these days, developers complete the console project then give themselves about a month to work on the PC side of things.
In most cases the end result is a shoddy port with little to no added features, which leaves most of the work to the modding community.
We’re glad to inform you that this is not the case with Alan Wake’s venture onto the PC.
Developer Remedy have crafted a game that is worth of the all powerful platform. Not only have they included some key features that are essential to the PC, but they also ditched Microsoft as it’s publisher with a view to providing the best experience for users through Steam rather than the cumbersome GFWL (Games For Windows Live.)
