The Snest around
Rumoured a short while ago, announced earlier in the week and released today – SNES games have finally arrived on the Nintendo Switch virtual console.
If you have a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, you’ll be able to download the SNES virtual console library from today for no additional cost. And that’s not all! You can also pick up a wireless SNES controller from the Nintendo Store, exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members, for £26.99
That’s all well and good but what games are available? I hear you scream. Like the NES library, this will be updated over the coming months but the release lineup looks a little like:
- Super Mario World
- Stunt Race FX
- Super Puyo Puyo 2
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
- Pilotwings
- Super Tennis
- Super Mario Kart
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3
- Breath Of Fire
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
- Kirby’s Dream Course
- BRAWL BROTHERS
- Super Metroid
- Super Ghouls’n Ghosts
- SUPER E.D.F. EARTH DEFENSE FORCE
- Star Fox
- Demon’s Crest
- Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics
- F-ZERO
- Super Soccer
That’s a mighty impressive lineup and it’s all available now, so go at it!
