505 games have announced that a demo for their upcoming third person shooter, Sniper Elite V2 will be available today on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a PC demo coming later this month.
Sniper Elite V2 is a third person tactical shooting game which is set in the later days of World War Two and is a reboot of the 2005 original, Sniper Elite. It also comes with an explosive story of an undercover American OSS agent which stalks enemies across key historical locations from the Battle of Berlin. The mission is to unravel the mysteries and dangers of the German V-2 rocket programme.
The demo will showcase a specially prepared sequence coming straight from one of the earlier missions against the streets of the town of Schoneberg. Players will take on the role of agent Karl Fairburne and use stealth in order to traverse the shattered streets environments in order to lay a booby-trap for the unsuspecting armoured enemy convoy. Also with you on board is a sinister expert in rocket engine technology and also some important documents that lead Fairburne to a secret V2 production facility.
