CI Games have today announced the delay of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3.
It will now be released on April 4th, 2017. Speaking about the delay, Marek Tymi?ski, CEO of CI Games stated:
We’re making an ambitious game and unfortunately still need an extra few months to make sure it will stand up to the expectations of the fans. Our goal is to ensure Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 runs smoothly on all platforms, and right now we still have some important work left on optimising the game. This is our biggest project we’ve ever worked on and the entire team is pushing really hard to make the entire experience more polished. I really hope everyone will understand our decision and will wait the extra time to play something we’re excited about, and that will redefine our IP and the sniping genre as a whole. This is a new beginning for the Sniper: Ghost Warrior franchise.

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed, but hopefully we are going to get a finished product, unlike Mafia III. I only hope this is the final release date
In dead it’s a shame. I have preordered the game already. It’s odd because I had a chance to play alpha version of the game and I was very impressed with what was shown
Damn it… Well, it’s probably for the best. If they would release it too soon, the game could be shitty. I hope they’ll optimize it.
Please, do it right! hope that spend this time for optimization, and polishing this game, if they say that “This is a new beginning for the Sniper: Ghost Warrior franchise” I’ll gladly wait for it.
Oh come on, guys! April???? It’s to long! You can’t even imagine how much I feel hurt waiting for this game since last year… Not realy, I’m fine, but I want ou to know it sucks 😉
