City Interactive has today announced that the original Sniper: Ghost Warrior has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide.
Marek Tymi?ski (CEO City Interactive) had this to say:
“We are all very happy that we have reached the 2 million units milestone. This builds a strong belief we can do even better with the sequel and other upcoming releases.”
Today’s announcement of Sniper: Ghost Warrior selling more than 2 million copies tops what has been a great year for City Interactive. In addition to announcing the development of WWII FPS Enemy Front, the company is preparing to launch Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 in 2012. If the success of the original is anything to go by, then Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 should also be a great success.
?ukasz Michalec (Senior Production & Project Manager) added:
“It is great to be a part of the City Interactive team. Especially, when business success comes hand in hand with rapid growth of game development across all our studios.”
