Sony Announce First Playstation Plus Content


Now that Sony’s long time rumoured, Playstation Plus service has been announced, Sony have revealed the content that subscribers will receive if they sign up for the service which starts on June 29th.

Pricing for the service costs £39.99 for a full year or £11.99 for a three-month subcription and users will be gifted with a free PSN title, 2 mini titles and also a PSone classic as well. There are various other content that subscribers will recieve including discounts, dynamic theme’s and more.

Also its been revealed that if you sign up for the service before August 3rd you will receive a free downloadable copy of one of the PS3’s finest titles, LittleBigPlanet.

Below is a list of the items/content that customers will be given for the first 2 months of the service –

Month 1: June 29th – August 3rd

  • Intro offer: LBP (standard edition)
  • PSN PS3: Wipeout HD
  • minis: Field Runners, Age of Zombies
  • PSone: Destruction Derby
  • Full Game Trial: Shatter, Savage Moon
  • Discounts: LBP God of War Pack – 50%, LBP: LocoRoco costume pack – 50%, Gravity Crash – 20%, Fat Princess DLC – 20%
  • Premium Game Element: KillZone 2: Steel & Titanium DLC
  • Push demo: ModNation Racers, Heavy Rain
  • Dynamic Themes: LBP Theme, SCEE produced: PlayStation “Game Is Just The Start” Dynamic Theme
  • 2 x Fat Princess Premium Avatars

Month 2: August 4th – September 1st

  • PSN PS3: Zen Pinball
