Sony Offer SEN Wallet Top Up Via Mobile in UK


Sony Network Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment have revealed a new feature in the UK that lets players top up their account wallets on the PlayStation Store via their mobile phone accounts.

In partnership with Boku, the mobile payments company, this will make it easier for users to obtain PlayStation Store and Sony Entertainment Network content, including downloadable games, add-ons, themes, movies and TV shows, as well as subscriptions to the Music Unlimited service. Mobile operator billing will work in conjunction with all major UK mobile network operators.

Users can top up their account wallets through the Sony Entertainment Network Account Management website and PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3. You then choose then ‘Mobile’ option and enter the mobile number. Respond via SMS to confirm the wallet top-up. The charge will then appear on your next mobile phone bill, or are debited against your pre-paid account.
