The chaps over at CVG have reported that Sony is set to reveal a live TV/on-demand streaming service for the PlayStation 4.
This new service is aimed to compete with all of the media capabilities that the rival, Xbox One can currently deliver.
It will be a cloud-based service which will allow players to watch live television through their next-generation console whilst also purchase films and television shows.
It is expected to launch first in the US later this year with European pricing and release dates not yet known. It is said that they aim to support the service on a range of devices and players will be able to pick up where they left off before, much like the recently revealed PlayStation Now.
