A bum note for South Park: Fractured But Whole
In the cutthroat world of gaming, it pays to stand out from the crowd and the best way to do this is by conjuring up a zany pr stunt. Ubisoft, in collaboration with Buzzman, has done just this by out fart joking their previous Nosulus Rift device with an incredibly surreal, yet perfectly South Park, competition. Are you the Fart is a chance for anyone to be a part of Fracture But Whole. By parting those butt cheeks and submitting a bottom burp to the site you can win a chance for your atrocity to be used as a special move in the game. If the social awkwardness of having a video in the public domain, of you literally farting into the camera, wasn’t enough the winner will be jetted off to San Francisco where they will be miked up (yep) and have to perform the act in front of a group of sound engineers.

Whilst the competition is perfectly South Park it does beg the question – How much do you value fame? There are obvious parallels to talent show genre TV and South Park always has a knack for poking fun out of things but this is a genuine competition, not a piss take. Of course, it could just be another fart joke.
