THQ has announced that they are working with South Park Digital Studios to create South Park: The Game.
South Park: The Game will be a RPG adventure game that will allow gamers to befriend South Park favourites Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny and go and explore the little mountain town like never before.
First details about the game will be revealed exclusively in Game Informer’s January 2012 issues. Danny Bilson of THQ had this to say regarding the announcement:
“Our goal is simple: to put creative talent first, Matt and Trey are arguably two of the most important comedic talents of their generation. Bringing their vision of South Park to the interactive space is a dream-come-true.”

South Park: The Game is set to be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in the second half of 2012.
