Not so long ago, Ubisoft stated that Splinter Cell: Conviction would only be released on the Xbox 360 due to Microsoft paying for exclusivity for their system but this might not be the case anymore if a Ubisoft employees CV is anything to go by. Thanks to an article posted by the guys over at vg247.com, it shows that a member at Ubisoft, 3D animator Michael Donnell’s CV which clearly states that Splinter Cell: Conviction will be released on the Playstation 3 in 2010.
Here is a snippet of his CV –
His full CV can be found @ LinkedIn by clicking here.
Also in his CV it shows that the next instalment in the Assassins Creed series will be released in 2010 as well. Being a fan of both the Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed series, i really hope this is true as it would be fantastic to see both these titles on the PS3 by the end of 2010. A huge amount of PS3 owners will be happy with regards to Splinter Cell: Conviction coming to the PS3 if this is indeed true. Something tells me that we will know a lot more come E3. Lets hope so!.
Thanks as always to vg247.com for the article.
