An area where EA excel above most is advertising and it has to be said they have done an amazing job again. This is an advert that is different and entertaining. It is the type of advertisement that will attract anyone and get their attention.
Footballers and gamers from all over the world, and even Drake, can be seen on rampant sofas flying through the desert, playing and taunting each other as they do it! Leo Messi stars in the advert and is joined by players like, Tim Cahill, Stefan El Shawaary, Gareth Bale, Javier Hernandez and many more, who all lend their support to the FIFA franchise. They struck a very nice mix of gamers, players and celebrities, especially getting the younger footballers like El Shawaary and Bale to appeal to the younger generation of gamers who look up to these individuals!
EA really have gone all out to promote the game to the best of it’s ability. They really give them selves the best chance to sell the game to the masses by producing promotional content like this, and of course all of the star names really do help!
