Square Enix and Reto-Meto have announced a new innovative online multiplayer game set in World War II, Heroes & Generals which is currently in Closed Beta Phase.
The game comes as a combination of a FPS title and Strategy game. Players will choose to play either the role of Hero, fighting on the frontline on-foot and in a variety of vehicles including tanks and warplanes, or they can assume the responsibility of General, to ensure troops and combat resources are best placed to outwit the opposing army. The game is set for release on PC and is currently in closed beta. Players can sign up to the closed beta by clicking here. There are also plans on bringing the game to tablets and smart-phones in the future.
