Capcom have announced that in collaboration with Mamoru Oshii, the award winning director behind “Ghost in the Shell” and “Avalon”, a short live-action film has been created titled Steel Battalion Heavy Armor: Gosha and will be released just before the release of Steel Battalion Heavy Armor.
The short live-action film will focus on Polish Vertical Tank pilot Gosha which just like Sgt. Powers from the game, commands her own VT squad. The film will follow Gosha as she goes to war but not just a war between global factions. This also shows the conflict that exists between people under her command.
The full live-action film will be released online before Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is released exclusively for the Xbox 360 on 19 June in North America and on 22 June in Europe. A short preview has been released which you can enjoy below. Let us know your thoughts via the comment section below.
