Super Meat Boy Coming To Touch Screen Devices

by

Team Meat, the guys behind indie hit Super Meat Boy, have revealed they’re working on some ideas to bring the game to touch-screen phones in some form, in the near future.

They’ve stated via their Twitter pages that the new touch-controlled game “will be built from scratch specifically for mobile touch devices”, and also showed their true feelings for the makeshift joypad buttons we see on similar games on touch-screen devices by stating “we wont make a game with shitty touch controls”.

They also made note of the fact it won’t be any old simple game, and intend to roll out a more traditional title.

“If you liked Super Meat Boy, im sure you will enjoy this (if its good enough to continue on) we just had a few cool ideas and wanted a challenge.”

Sounds great for fans of the arcade puzzler game. More Meat Boy is always welcome on our screens.

The developers in the past admitted they wouldn’t be carrying on with any sequels, but this will no doubt bring smiles to the faces of those loyal fans.

Super Meat Boy recently passed 1 million sales, just last month infact. A great feat for an indie developer studio that only consists of two men.
