Indie developer DrinkBox Studios has confirmed that the PlayStation Vita title, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack will be released from February 21st on the PlayStation Store.
The PlayStation Vita title is a 2D physics-based platformer which sees players controlling a blob as they make their way through a range of clever physics obstacle courses. CEO of DrinkBox, Ryan MacLean said the following;
“We’re thrilled to have Mutant Blobs Attack as one of the first PlayStation Vita downloadable titles, and for us to have hit our day-one launch goal,”. Everyone at DrinkBox Studios is super happy with the end product and we decided to sell it for only $7.99.
“It’s a crazy low price point. Insanely low. I’m insane. HUUAGGGGH Backflip!”
DrinkBox also announced that the PlayStation 3 title, Tales from Space: About a Blob has received a price-reduction down to $7.99 and also announced a new bundle for the PS3 title which will include, two downloadable expansions (the costume pack and the co-operative map pack) for only $9.99.
