The Tales of series is one of our favorites here at NGB and Namco Bandai have sent us a concrete release date for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.
It has been revealed that the title will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in Europe and Australasia on February 28th, 2014. It celebrates the 10th anniversary of the original and brings Tales of Symphonia and its follow-up story, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, together for the first time on a single disc containing the entire Tales of Symphonia storyline with updated HD graphics, the original Japanese voice overs and new content.
A collector’s edition for the game has also been released that comes packaged with an exclusive set of five Chibi Kyun Chara mini figures from both titles, a paperback novel detailing the events between both games, a multi-disc soundtrack, and special collector’s packaging with artwork from Japanese animation studio, ufotable. This Collector’s Edition will be limited to 10,000 copies across Europe and Australasia.
