Gamers in the UK will today be able to enjoy a full-featured demo of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North via OnLive.
The latest game in the Lord of the Rings series will be available to try out for the next three weeks on OnLive. All game features have been enabled including multiplayer co-op. As with all OnLive games, you will be able to play this instantly on your HDTV, PC or Mac with no discs, large downloads or high performance hardware required.
Giving players immediate access to Middle Earth, the exclusive OnLive demo will allow you to play as a Human, Elf or Dwarf, You’ll also be able team up with friends online and take on Sauron’s forces. As you’d expect, War in the North draws inspiration from both the books and the movies by telling the story of a battle to preserve the North from Sauron’s far-reaching hand.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is set to be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 25th. Gamers will also be able to purchase it through OnLive.
