The Rumour Mill Hints That 2012 May See God of War IV and Syphon Filter 4

As you stroll down the internet highway and peruse the various wafts of information that scuffle to grab your attention, you may just get a wiff of something so sweet that you ignore and dismiss it because it couldn’t possibly be real.

According to numerous gaming magazines and websites alike, both God of War IV and Syphon Filter 4 will be announced next month and both will carry with them 2012 release dates.

Rumours of God of War IV were sprouted  last year in April ever since Sony Santa Monica posted a job looking for a “Senior Online Programmer” to join the God of War Team. They were further given solidarity when Timothy Willaims (who composed the music for the latest reboot of Conan the Barbarian) listed that he had worked on the title in question.

Syphon Filter 4 has started to peak its head out of cover, with yet more rumours, that it is being developed by SCE London Studios. According to Sillegamer, Play magazine feel that their spies are well and truely on to something: ?“As far as our spies tell us, Syphon Filter 4 will be announced and released during 2012 – they’re not often wrong either”

If these rumours are true then February could hold some very exciting revelations for PlayStation 3 owners. 2 awesome game series’ with 2 new installments, what could be better?

You know you're a gamer when you live for the smell of a feshly opened game, mmmmmmm yes! I fell in love with games the day I was given a NES which came with Teenage Mutant Nunja Turtles and Mario Bros. Since then my tastes have developed and I'll happily play most genres, but I can tell you that scary games are a no go! I also try to avoid realistic racing titles. It's Mario Kart for the win!
