According to numerous gaming magazines and websites alike, both God of War IV and Syphon Filter 4 will be announced next month and both will carry with them 2012 release dates.
Rumours of God of War IV were sprouted last year in April ever since Sony Santa Monica posted a job looking for a “Senior Online Programmer” to join the God of War Team. They were further given solidarity when Timothy Willaims (who composed the music for the latest reboot of Conan the Barbarian) listed that he had worked on the title in question.
Syphon Filter 4 has started to peak its head out of cover, with yet more rumours, that it is being developed by SCE London Studios. According to Sillegamer, Play magazine feel that their spies are well and truely on to something: ?“As far as our spies tell us, Syphon Filter 4 will be announced and released during 2012 – they’re not often wrong either”
