Telltale Games have unveiled the standard retail edition and collector’s edition for the upcoming physical release of their episodic title, The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead comes as an adventure horror title which is set in Robert Kirkman’s award-winning universe. It begins when Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes is still in a coma, this is a new story telling the tale of Lee Everett who comes as a man given a second chance at life in a world of the undead. Lee then takes an orphaned girl named Clementine under his wing and he must deal with true horror under the constant threat of walkers hungry for flesh and other survivors, desperate enough to do anything to stay alive. The Standard retail version comes priced at $29.99 which is set for release in North America on December 4th.
The Collector’s Edition (Exclusive at GameStop priced at $69,99) contains the following:
- Extremely Limited for Pre-Order ONLY
- The Walking Dead Compendium One featuring exclusive Charlie Adlard cover art. Over 1,000 pages collecting the first 48 issues of Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series.
- Collector’s Edition box with Charlie Adlard artwork
- Game disc containing the entire first season including Episodes 1 through 5
