The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To Get Dedicated Pop-Up Store

Bandai Namco have announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will get Europe’s first dedicated pop-up store, which will be located in Amsterdam.

The store will be launched with a nightly opening to kick off the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with a big bang. The launch will lead into a week full of festivities including exclusive Q&A sessions, live streams and competitions. Located at Kalverstraat 101, Amsterdam, it will be open from May 19th (midnight) to May 24th. Visitors will also be able to get a unique photo opportunity with a larger-than-life Geralt of Rivia (The lead character) statue. Peter Söderlund, Marketing Manager Nordic & The Netherlands at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment stated:

We are very happy and honoured to be given the opportunity to create the first pop-up store dedicated to one specific game in Europe. If there’s one game that deserves it this year, it’s absolutely The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The anticipation around this game is unheard of and thrilling. The Witcher 3 has already won over 200 awards before release!

Micha Patkow-Gilewski, Head of Global Communication at CD PROJEKT RED also added:

To illustrate the legacy of the Witcher brand and its grandeur, we have recreated its notable heritage with life size cut-outs, a display of key artwork and a ‘magic gate’ that leads to a huge screen on which the game can be played. It will be a one of a kind experience for fans of the game as well as for others visiting the store.
