THQ have announced Company of Heroes 2, which is a sequel to their successful original strategy game and will be taking gamers to the frozen frontlines of war in Russian on PC in early 2013.
The game comes as a true sequel and moves the battle away from the common Western Front focus of World War II and focuses on some of history’s more brutal and devastating battles that happened on the Eastern Front. The game will challenge players to take command of the iconic Red Army and battle away the Nazi invaders from the gates of Moscow.
The game also utilizes Relic Entertainment’s Essence 3.0 Engine in order to bring new, advanced technological advancements to the strategy genre. This includes Dynamic Battle Tactics, increased graphical fidelity and new environmental destruction which puts the player in control with new Commander Abilities.
