It was announced earlier this year that the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital – Two Point Hospital – would be making its way to consoles (including the Switch!) This news got me personally as giddy as a goat on glucose because I’m sans PC and the game looks great. However, yesterday came some news which will have undoubtedly disappointment my Bovid brethren.
Two Point Hospital on consoles has been delayed! Originally set to come out at the very end of this year, Two Point Hospital is now set to be releasing in the first half of 2020. Two Point Studios has put out a large post explaining the situation but it boils down to them needing more time to get the game right on these new platforms.
Whilst delays are always disappointing they’re put in place for a reason and if a better quality port is the result, it can only be a good thing. We’ll just have to wait a little longer to witness greatness. Two Point Hospital will eventually release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
