Ubisoft has today announced a new online multiplayer FPS called, ShootMania Storm.
Developer, Nadeo who developed the popular racer, TrackMania wants to bring the same thing to the FPS genre with a unique competitive spirit and fun that made TrackMania such a huge success when it was released in 2011. ShootMania will include its main competitive multiplayer mode along with map editing capabilities, player customisation, the ability to design and share their creations across the community and all will be using the soon to be released, upgraded ManiaPlanet 2.0 gaming system.

ShootMania is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2012 but at present, no release date has been officially announced.
