The online and TV ads have worked a treat, as Prototype 2 has powered its way to the top of the UK charts this week, with The Witcher 2 (last week’s number one) dropping to sixth place.
Despite a Tuesday launch, Prototype 2 didn’t match week one sales of its predecessor, but did manage to sell more copies than Kinect Star Wars and The Witcher 2 during its first week of release.
It shouldn’t be much of a surprise now, but FIFA Street retains the number two spot whilst FIFA 12 stays in third place. The top five is completed by Mass Effect 3 in fourth and Kinect Star Wars dropping down one place into fifth.
Whilst there are no other major changes to the chart this week, it’s interesting to note that UFC Undisputed 3 and F1 2011 have made it back into the top 20. Check out the top 20 below, and let us know what you think via the comments section.
