Capcom and Marvel Entertainment have today officially confirmed the existence of Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. The new iteration of Capcom’s over-the-top fighting game will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in November.
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will include 12 new legends from the Marvel and Capcom universes, which means the games total roster will add up to a highly impressive 50 characters. The first of the 12 characters revealed by Capcom include Strider, Fireband, Ghost Rider and Hawkeye. Other characters will be revealed in the lead up to the games release in November.
In addition to the characters, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will feature a refined fighting system, eight new stages, improved online functionality and new modes, including the fan-requested Spectator mode that will allow players to watch live online matches together.
