As seen on both Kotaku and MCV, its been reported that Winning Eleven 2010 was the best selling game over in Japan in the month of November – fighting off some big names and obscure RPG’s to reach top spot. Despite being released nearly 2 weeks into the month (WE 2010 hit Japan November 11th), the game shifted a total of 321,722 copies by November 29th.
The huge interest for the game in Konami’s back yard has certainly been over shadowed by the subdued performance in the UK and parts of Europe, although this significant coup will no doubt spur the company on to continue to work with the community and deliver a game we can all be proud of.
