A report has surfaced over at the Nintendo fan site, NWR that the Wii U version of Ubisoft’s, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online will feature the same in-game purchases like the PC version of the game.
The PC version (which is currently in beta form) features a store that lets players purchase new items with the in-game currency that you earn while playing through the game and also features the option to buy “Ghost Coins” which can be purchased with real currency.
A source close to the site has revealed that the Wii U version of the game will be almost identical to its PC counterpart in terms of its in-game purchases feature. Also the developer stated that the Wii U’s controller will be used to switch weapons and gear between each respawn and that the touchscreen is the most likely way of implementing those actions.
