Shallow Hal
The Xbox Live Games with Gold October line-up doesn’t pack as much punch as the PS+ offering but does include a couple of gems.
Gone Home will be available for Xbox One owners throughout the month and mixes story telling with puzzle elements making it more than just a walking sim. The Turing Test, available on the 16th, is a first-person puzzle game with a mysterious plot involving a space exploration team setting up camp on Europa. Ava Turing must discover the fate of her crew as she navigates the power-puzzles laid out before her, all whilst being directed by T.O.M, the ships AI.
Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Rayman 3 HD for the first half of the month when it’s then replaced by Medal of Honor: Airborne on the 16th. Medal of Honor is a bit of a strange choice as it’s also available on EA Access at present and my assumption was that games from both subscriptions wouldn’t cross paths but I guess not.
