The upcoming update for the Xbox One will reportedly alter the initial boot screen.
A number of preview testers to the upcoming update have reported changes to the boot screen, with dots being added to the boot screen on start up. A couple of Reddit users stated:
We finally have a way to know our Xbox isn’t frozen on bootup screen
I believe the green ‘X’ in the logo pulsed, but it was an extremely subtle effect.
