2K games have released a playable demo of their upcoming title, XCOM: Enemy Unknown for PC via Steam.
The demo allows players to go through the tutorial section that features in the single player campaign that features in the game. Players will get to grips with the combat controls and will also be shown the XCOM base. A console demo release is expected soon.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in North America on October 9th and Internationally on October 12th.
