Yakuza 3 Exclusive Premium PS3 Edition

With Yakuza 3 being announced for Europe a few months back, fans of the series were very excited about the prospect of finally being able to play what was previously a Japanese release only. There were rumours that the PAL version of the game would include English voice acting but this has been denied by Sega’s Online Community Manager, Kevin Eva on the official Playstation Blog. The game will include English subtitles but no English voice acting im afraid.

So on to the Premium Edition PS3 only version. The content that will be included with the game. Yakuza 3 is released on the 12th March 2010 and will include the following extra’s via DLC  –

  • Battle for Survival: Take on all the bosses of Yakuza 3 as Kazuma, stand or fall – determine your own fate!
  • All-Star Tournament: A 7 character tournament to determine the strongest warrior.
  • All-Star Tag Tournament: Two heads are better than one! Prove it in this 8 team tournament.
  • Haruka’s Request: This unique series of challenge missions will send you on a task of exploration throughout the entire Yakuza world, playing mini-games and entertaining Haruka.

Also included in the Premium edition is 31 track soundtrack and a fully animated guide named – ‘Yakuza Who’s Who’ that explains how all the characters are connected and who turned from rivals to allies.

Another thing that was mentioned was a pre-order bonus which is DLC and is called the “Challenge Pack” which includes some sort of costume changing mode for the characters and also games like Pool, Bowling, Darts and Golf.
