A demo of the very popular Yakuza series is on its way to Japanese PS3 owners on Thursday March 4th 2010. The Yakuza 4 demo will be 1.7GB in size and the demo will be split into 2 parts. The first part is where you play as Shin and also a battle mode will be included as well.
As announced by Sega a few months back, Yakuza is coming to Europe after all and it’s about time. The only drawback is that we will be getting Yakuza 3 which Japan has had since February 09 and also Yakuza 4 is very close to release which means we are basically a year behind what the Far East get in terms of Yakuza 4. We can understand this though as the games have previously been Japanese only releases so the language side of things needs to be altered etc and also Yakuza 4 was announced a long time before Yakuza 3 was even announced for the rest of us so it’s totally understandable.
According to the article posted by VG247.com, the Yakuza 4 demo will include karaoke, hostess clubs and arcades as distractions throughout the demo, as well as a hot springs resort and playing table tennis with girls.
So if you want to check out the demo of Yakuza 4, check the Japanese Playstation Store on Thursday March 4th.
Yakuza 4 is released for the PS3 in Japan on March 18th 2010.
